Pink N’ Nerdy
The Sensations have been gearing up for great performances on their Senior Night and Halloween routines.
The senior Sensations that will be acknowledged at Senior Night include team captains Jordan Sneed, Stephanie Henry, Keagan Lumpa, and Alli Benney. The other seniors on the team are Jessica Hyde, Claire Richardson, Courtney Luer, Cassidy Luer, Taylor Luehrs, Tiffany Olderworth, and Jennifer Wesley.
Their Senior Night routine is tonight, Oct. 25. Their Halloween routine will be performed on Wednesday.
“I’m excited to perform, because these routines are fun and easy and aren’t stressful. They are pom and hip-hop dances, and they are pretty short. The whole team likes them,” said senior Courtney Luer.
Since it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Pink Week, the Sensations will be dressing up in pink clothes and accessories and wearing temporary breast cancer awareness tattoos. The dance team is also going to dress up for their Halloween performance.
“Our Halloween dance is nerd-themed, so we are all going to dress up like nerds,” said Luer.
Catch the seniors’ performance at their last home football game tonight at 7 p.m.
