Mr. FHC raises funds
The annual Mr. FHC fundraiser continues to grow in success.
The annual Mr. FHC fundraiser took place last week, this year raising money for Five Acres Animal Shelter. Through the combined ticket sales and “Miracle Minute” segment, over $2,000 was raised.
Carl Swanson was crowned Mr. Sophomore, Eion Jones received Mr. Junior, and Aleks Kisselhoff won Mr. Senior. The title of Mr. FHC was taken home by senior Gabe Delgado.
While there were some minor technical difficulties, Delgado overall believes this year’s competition was more successful than previous years.
“Not only did they [StuCo] run the event really smoothly, like they got everyone out, they didn’t call me a sophomore, but I mean we also raised a lot of money for a really good cause,” Delgado said.
To find out more about StuCo’s upcoming fundraisers, follow them on Twitter, and don’t forget to vote Gabe Delgado and Emily Mann for prom king and queen.
