Top 5 fall fashion trends

Sarah’s favorite fall trends for 2018.

1. Turtlenecks: Turtlenecks are extremely versatile. They come in any color imaginable and can be styled in several ways. Turtlenecks were popular in the 1960s, but they are making a well-deserved comeback. A turtleneck can be the base of an outfit or it can be the accent piece.

2. Joggers: I love joggers because they are comfortable, but look much classier than the typical pair of sweatpants. Joggers can be dressed up or dressed down. They can be worn as an everyday look, but are also a staple workout item.

3. Plaid: Plaid comes in a variety of colors. It can be on pants, shirts, jackets, scarves, skirts, dresses, and many other clothing items. Wearing plaid is an easy way to spice up any look because the pattern is simple but will make the outfit pop.

4. Cute socks: Cute, graphic socks are one of my favorite ways to accessorize an outfit. In the fall, wearing long socks that coordinate with your outfit will not only make the outfit cuter, but it will keep you warm in the chilly weather.

5. Boots: Boots are a staple for fall fashion. They are generally neutral colors like black or brown, but can come in many more. Boots come in all different lengths and styles. Some boots are heels, and some are classic combat boots. I like wearing boots because they can easily be dressed up or down.
