Harvester Road closes

Harvester Road will be closed by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) this weekend, Oct. 23-26. The MoDOT website announced that construction is contracted to Fred Weber Inc. From 8:00 p.m. Friday until 2:00 p.m. Monday, concrete will be poured to join Harvester Road with Harvester Bridge.

Construction in the near future will extend Harvester bridge over Route 364 for more efficient travel. Only the Harvester bypass, which connects the north and south outer roads, will be closed. The outer roads and Harvester itself will still be available. Businesses that are not open during the weekend, such as Harvester Kumon, are not implementing changes. The following detour directions are taken from the MoDOT website:

“To detour between the southern half of Harvester and the northern half, take the south outer road to Jung Station, make a left under the Route 364 bridge and another left onto the north outer road and follow it to Harvester. To get from the northern half of Harvester to the southern half, take Queens Brooke to Jungermann Road, turn left onto Jungermann Road, take a left onto Old Highway 94 and follow it to Harvester.”
