Soccer team plays with intensity
The varsity soccer team is continuing its sucessful season, winning at home Monday night against the Holt Indians. Although losing a match at Fort Zumwalt South in penalty kicks, the team still has a record of 14-6-1.
Junior Gabe Remolina and seniors Paul Haluszczak and Joe Macke each scored in the 3-2 win against Wentzville Holt.
Ryan Miller and others are pleased with the performance of the team recently.
“[We have] come out strong the last two games. We are playing with great intensity,” said Miller.
The team hopes to bounce back from the loss Thursday night as they travel to Francis Howell North to take on the rival Knights.
The week will conclude with a match Saturday afternoon against Jefferson City High.
