The ice hockey club opened its season on Nov. 1 with a 2-2 draw against the Holt Indians. Freshman, Roland Rausch had a goal during the game to help out the Spartans. Rausch said the team was excited for him being a varsity freshman player.
“It’s scary because you never know what’s going to happen,” Rausch said “It felt good to score and everyone was happy and cheering for me.”
Their next game will be against Holt Nov. 8 at the Rec-Plex.
