SO, I’m “the music blogger.” Let’s get to know each other! My name is Anna Gingrich, and I am a junior at Francis Howell Central. I turned 17 last week (whoop), and I moved here from Las Vegas, Nevada last year. I have purple hair- that’s because, it is my aunt’s cancer color. Sorry, I don’t know how to pronounce nor spell what the cancer actually IS. I am a busy little student: three honors courses, one AP course, Newspaper, Chamber Choir and Spanish 1! I enjoy singing, writing, watching Disney movies, texting, playing soccer, being a Thespian (theatre kid) and of course, finding/listening to/and sharing great music with people like you!

My music influences branch from two main sources. The first one being my brother, Timmah. He is a musician (the best keyboardist I’ve heard, next to Ben Folds). The final, my boyfriend. He resides back in Las Vegas, but one of our favorite things to do is share the new music we’ve found with one another. Much of what I’ll be talking about will be compliments of that cute guy.

So pretty much, I like a lot of different things. You will notice this list does not contain any Tim McGraw or Carrie Underwood…it will remain that way pretty much forever. Country music is one thing I can’t take seriously; this is my blog, so there. -insert winking face- Anyways, looking above, you may also notice that you know a few of the bands. There are probably others that you have never even heard of. That will change…only if you’re cool enough to keep up with this blog on a weekly basis!
