Living your life

Hey there, everybody! I’m Savannah McEachern, and I’m a junior. I am blogging about the hardships and delights of being a teenager. I enjoy helping in so many ways because I have been through the majority. Moving, good relationships, bad relationships, death of family members, peer pressures, school stress, etc. I care very much because I’ve been the person who has been lost before; I didn’t know what to do or how to feel when something went wrong. When something went right, my spirits where uplifted, and I felt like I could take on the world.

High school is the time to make new friends, fall in love…a lot, look at what grabs your interest and make something out of it such as a career. Find what makes you happy because in 30 or 40 years you want to look back on your high school years and say you had the time of your life.

I used to feel like when an event in my life was fun and exciting, another event that was more tragic would overcome the excitement. It’s hard to remember the good times, but I am learning when you feel down in the dumps find anything that you know will make you smile. It can be anything, from family and friends or coloring in your favorite coloring book. You can’t let life get you down. You shouldn’t have to live in the future or the past. Keep yourself in the present because tomorrow is a new day to start over and live your life.
