The tennis team remains victorious

After missing games due to the heat, the team still pushes through its matches to bring home consistent wins. With an undefeated record, the girls come together and embrace the coaches new techniques and criticism.

“So far, the season has gone well; I have won all of my matches,” senior Lindsey Neuwirth said.

New players to the team, like Neuwirth, contribute to the team’s overall winning record. With a current record of 3-0, the ladies push to make a new record of 4-0 after their competitive match against Francis Howell. According to junior Kourtlyn Adams, coach Emily Ottsen helps the ladies accept the challenges that face them during practice and game time.

“The new coach is very positive, and that gives me more confidence to play, get better and not worry about making mistakes,” Neuwirth said.
