Hockey defeats Oakville in The Winter Classic.
On Jan 24, the hockey club defeated Oakville at the outdoor rink, Shaw Park. This was the first time since the 2011-2012 school year the Central hockey club has participated in the Winter Classic.
“I’ve played in the Winter Classic twice, my freshman year it was during the day, but playing under the lights my senior year was amazing,” senior goalie Graham Nave said.
The Spartans are now headed into playoffs with their goal to win the Challenge Cup.
