The second meet of the cross country season was cancelled due to extreme heat on Friday. The heat reached up to 99 degrees and was too severe for runners.
A rescheduled meet is not planned yet, but could be possible towards the end of the season.
“It is not rescheduled at this time, but even if it was, there is not a weekend open to run it,” said Coach Michelle Breuer.
The next meet will be scheduled for Saturday Septemeber 10 at 8:00a.m., hosted by St. Louis University High School in Forest Park.
