DECA officers elected, announced
DECA has started off the year with doing its process of elections where all candidates make a video saying why they would be a good candidate to represent the DECA club. The officers for both senior and junior classes have been decided.
For the seniors Josh Burns, Blake Harting, Hannah Greco and Kaitlyn Gaines. The juniors officers are Megan Gaglio, Allie Straub, Kaela Henry and Alex Wilson.
On Wednesday Sept. 21, all DECA members will be attending a field trip to the St. Peters City Hall for the District DECA fall leadership. The members will be listening to a motivational speaker followed by going to the mall to have lunch.
“I’m excited for our field trip. It is the first field trip we get to do for DECA. I get to wear a DECA blazer. I’m really excited to see what DECA teaches me this year because I want to make a career out of marketing one day,” said Henry.
