At Francis Howell Central, one can hear the instruments play their rhythms in the hallways or outside after school.  Band has been a part of these student’s lives ever since middle school when they first picked out their chosen instrument. “I love expressing myself through music and there is something so special about playing music with other people. There is something so amazing about hearing yourself blend into a full ensemble that you can’t get just playing alone. It’s increased my appreciation of working together and increased my confidence because sometimes you have to play above the band or take a solo,” said senior Rachel Fortney. We wanted to take this time to show our appreciation to the members of band by showcasing them with their instruments.
