A Warm Farewell for Our Seniors
Every year, a handful of girls become a group of seniors who have been volleyball players on the team for all four years of their time in Central. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, these seniors were recognized and medaled for their dedication to the team and the sport for so long. Junior player Annamarie Yates spoke about how important this night was for the seniors.
“This is where we appreciate our seniors who have been playing with us for four years.” Yates said. “We have shirts, we have food, we have a big feast together after, it’s fun!”
Although the season is over, Central’s girls have made their way into the district championships and have plenty of intense games to look forward to.
