Team Work Makes the Dream Work

Sophomore Bella Cowherd serves overhand in the first set of the game on Oct. 3rd.

The Junior Varsity volleyball team played an incredibly tight match against Francis Howell North on Oct. 3rd, but North clutched the victory with the first set ending in 21-25 and the second set, 25-20.

“We could’ve talked more in the game and worked more as a team,” said Bella Cowherd, the defense specialist on the team. “I think I could’ve done more for my team to have a better outcome.”

Although the team lost the match, they fought hard and will continue to work for future victories with help from their coach, Emily LeFlore, who pushed to build morale throughout the game.
