Quietly, the class threaded their sewing machines like they did every morning. Mondays-Fridays, Mrs.Clifford’s first hour, Fashion Construction, works on the projects and pieces that Clifford assigns.
Junior, Emily Zuehlke feels Fashion Construction is a calming class which also comes with benefits.
“Fashion Construction is honestly very calming. It’s also a skill you are going to use in your life,” explained Zuehlke. “I hope to get a sewing machine in the future. Making your own clothes definitely saves a lot of money.”
Currently, the class is making sweatpants and their next project will be a fleece jacket or vest with the option of a hood or zip
