In their last match on Monday, the Francis Howell Central Spartans Lady’s Golf team took the win from Holt High. Senior Emily Klobe, brought the team to the finish with her individual score of 48 strokes.
“I am proud of the match. I got a birdie and a couple pars so I feel good,” said Klobe. She is also excited about the next match against Howell because of the rivalry.
Her team also played well, scoring an overall score of 219. The Spartans Lady Golf team won by 12 strokes and their record is now 2-3.
”I’m seeing improvement in each match we play. I believe this is because we are getting into a routine of practice and play and all the work is paying off,” Coach Bob Storts said.
Coach Storts is also looking forward to their next match, a tri-match against Howell and Fort Zumwalt East on Monday.
