Chem club stirs things up
Plans are in motion for the inauguration of this year’s chemistry club. The club sponsor, Mr. John Kozlowski, plans to have the club’s first meeting early second quarter, although he does not yet know an exact date; anyone interested in joining should meet in room 219 to speak with him.
Chemistry Club engages members in a chemistry lab setting to create anything from colorful glass beads to super balls. This year, Mr. Kozlowski is trying to expand his activities.
“Maybe we’ll make ice cream,” said Kozlowski.
Chemistry club also helps prepare interested students for a test given annually on the University of Missouri – St. Louis campus; high scorers will receive a scholarship from the American Chemical Society.
