Cheerleaders prepare for Homecoming

After wrapping up all summer practices, the varsity cheerleaders are finally ready and eager to perform at the annual white out game on Friday, Sept. 24 against the Timberland Wolves.

The cheerleaders have been prepping for the much anticipated game and performance for several weeks now, working hard on practicing stunts and running though the choreographed halftime routine.

After the fifth place finish at Regionals this past summer, the varsity cheerleaders added to their routines and are now eager and prepared to cheer the spartans to victory.

“The homecoming game is by far my favorite event [to cheer for],” said junior Alyssa Fuqua. “It’s always exciting to see everyone out there showing off their school spirit.”
