JV Boys Wrestling Falls to Holt
The JV boys wrestling team faced Holt on January 29th. Although the team ended up defeated in the end, they fought hard and realized that the loss is only motivation for the rest of the season. Junior Jake Hacker knows that the boys have had a great season and that this downfall will not cause them to forget that.
“There are setbacks in the season, especially with the Holt match, but overall, I feel like it’s been a great season,” said Hacker. “It’s a great bounce back from last year because last year I got hurt right before the first competition.”
The team will wrestle next in the Hazelwood East tournament on February 5th.
