On Thursday, Oct. 14, the Varsity Boys XC team ran their GAC’s on the notorious McNair Park course. While not a difficult-looking course on the surface, McNair is generally seen as a mentally challenging place to run, as the course is repetitive and mostly flat. However, as Junior Liam Nachtrab noticed, the course still left runners opportunities to take home a personal record.

“I definitely think I could have pushed myself harder given how good I felt after the race,” Nachtrab said. “In terms of the team, I think we did really well. I know several of my teammates hit some PR’s, and I’m proud of the work we did.”

The team will run at Districts on Saturday, Oct. 30, giving them the chance to run at state on Friday, Nov. 5.
