Dear Dr. Kelley,

At first, I was so nervous to take my first AP class and having to begin the day with it. Fortunately, this worry quickly disappeared as you found a way to make first hour AP World an energetic and welcoming class that I wasn’t afraid to start my day with! Looking back, I had an amazing time taking your class. Although history isn’t my favorite subject, your teaching made the content so lively and captivating. Topics that could have been mundane and difficult were brought to life by your passion, humor, and amazing teaching! I’m so grateful for you and for getting the opportunity to begin my AP journey with you. Not only did I have an amazing experience, but you also taught me so many skills that many other students and I will continue to use throughout our high school careers and into the future. Before we took the AP test, you settled our nerves and trusted in us to do our best. Thank you for all your encouragement and understanding, even as I doubted myself. So much of my success has been thanks to you and I cannot thank you enough! Thank you for letting me continue to bother you throughout this year as well and for always saying hi in the hallways. I’m looking forward to having you as a teacher again in APUSH!
