Mrs. Dauve,

I’ve had a tattered past with math in middle and high school, so when I walked into your class for AP Calculus AB, I wasn’t the most excited; however, I was blown away by how easy you made calculus feel. I always had friends raving about your class and how fun it is, so I’m glad I got to experience it. I’m so thankful to have a committed, understanding, and kind teacher like you in my senior year. I love the way you lead your classes and you’ve made me excited to learn more math in the future. Also, it has been an honor putting the song of the week on your board every Monday, I have been able to discover so many new songs because of it and I really like hearing your opinion on them too! Through your class, I’ve become a lot closer with my friends, and I’ve really become a better problem solver. Regardless of how the AP exam goes, you have sparked a new love for math and calculus in me this year and I will always remember my sixth-hour class with you. Thank you for the amazing memories!
