On April 23 FHC girls varsity lacrosse took on the St. Dominic lacrosse team. Both teams put up a fight, checking from the side, running after the ball, and scoring points. The opposing schools both worked to get the ball down the opposing teams net, fighting hard and running fast. At the end of the game, FHC lost 10-6. Sophomore Anna Reed talks about activities the team does to feel more connected.
“Well, on [the lacrosse team], we all are, like a huge family, and JV and varsity practice together, so we’re all really connected, and we go on like team bonding trips, and it’s just a whole family environment.” Reed said
The lacrosse team’s next game is May 1 against Ft. Zumwalt United JV at 4:15 and Varsity at 5:30.
