On Friday, the seats were filled at the football field, the popcorn was popped at the concession stand, and the players were ready to play. The band was fired up; the cheerleaders were cheering. Blue and silver was seen everywhere one looked until Christian Brothers College took the field.
The gold and purple of the Cadet fans and players shone brighter than the Spartans, and beat them 35-7.

The touchdown was scored the forth quarter toward the end and was the third attempt the Spartans had at a touchdown. Their record is one loss and one win (1-1).
