A funny ‘Noise’

The curtain rose on The Spotlight Players presentation of “Noises Off” Thursday night

Every year, the Spotlight Players put on two shows: the fall play and the spring musical. This fall they chose the English farce “Noises Off.” The play is really a play within a play and shows the hilarity of what happens backstage as the show falls apart.

The play opened last night Nov.20 and is also showing tonight and Saturday, Nov. 22, with the curtain rising at 7 p.m. and the doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

“Who doesn’t like to see someone getting stuck with a cactus?” said Madison Gage, a member of The Spotlight Players
