The Boys swim team comes out victorious at first meet
The boys swim team finishes first at their first tri-meet against Howell and Timberland High School. The meet was held at the Rec-Plex from 7-9p.m.
“Winning this first meet has given the team a confidence boost,” senior Andrew Smith said. “It shows that this year we are working hard and we’re taking the competition seriously.”
The team participated in the 100 fly, 4-100 relay, and the 200 medley. With these relays the team met personal records and made past state times.
“In the 100 breast stroke I made a time of 1:01 which took me two meets last year to achieve,” senior Ryan Macy said. “The times just show how much practice the team has really put in this year and that is pays off.”
