Boys swim team remains consistent
On Saturday Oct. 1, the boys swim team took second at the Zumwalt West Invitational meet. The team was beaten by Zumwalt South with a final score of 246 to 244 points.
“With only a two point difference in our final score against Zumwalt South, I feel the team swam well as a whole,” senior Ryan Macy said. “Everyone preformed their best and dropped time.”
The team looks ahead to its next meet on Oct. 6 against Hazelwood Central. According to Macy, Central is not a familiar opponent, so the team looks forward to competing.
“Hazelwood Central is not one of our top rivals because they don’t have a strong swimming core,” Macy said. “They do, however, have a skilled dive team, so our divers are going to have to practice extra hard for the team to ultimately come out with a win.”
