The girls basketball team made easy work of Timberland in their first game of districts. The final score was 37-20, which makes their record 21 & 5. The game was heavily in favor of the Spartans, but Timberland managed to come back and make it a close game.

“The whole team had a lot of energy,” said junior Yani Curry. “Come districts, it’s like a new season. You have to forget about everything that happened in the past and act like you’ve never played them before”.

The next districts game will be tonight at 5:30 tonight in our gym. We hope to see you there!
