JV Volleyball Digs Deep Against FZW
With high spirits in the air, the JV volleyball team fought hard to impress their seniors on the last game of the regular season. On Oct. 22, JV played a close game against Fort Zumwalt West, winning the first set and losing the second. FZW pulled through in the end, winning the last set with a score of 15-13.
Sophomore Jessica Barbosa feels that the seniors have contributed immensely to the team and knows they will be missed.
“Really upset because they have played them before and wanted to beat them,” said Barbosa.
The loss has riled up the team and they are looking forward to their rematch against FZW during GACs on Saturday, Oct. 26. They have high hopes of beating them and will work hard to make success happen.
