Varsity Boys Basketball Fends Off Holt
The varsity boys basketball team defeated Holt 56-50 on the road on February 14, 2020. The game was a good bounce back after having lost five of the six previous games. Junior Kannon Cissell is thankful for the win that ended their losing streak.
“It really boosted our confidence because we were on a losing streak and we weren’t where we wanted to be,” says Cissell. “That whole game was good for us because we played well and had a lot of energy, and it’s carrying over right now.”
The team will face Fort Zumwalt West this Friday at home at 7:00 pm and will begin district playoffs on March 2.
