Double Trouble
The Girl’s JV Tennis team had a tournament against Fort Zumwalt West on Saturday, Sept. 17th. The girls showed an immense amount of effort against not only Fort Zumwalt West, but also Timberland and multiple other high schools in the area. Senior Allie Raines and Junior Chelsea Beeler, two players on the tennis team, played a doubles match against Fort Zumwalt West and won 5-2. Beeler expresses how the tennis team has made a strong impact on her.
“It’s helped me build relationships with people around school, we all have the same interests too,” Beeler said. “It has made me feel more comfortable.”
Come support the upcoming JV and Varsity game on Thursday, Sept. 29th against Helias high school. Hopefully they can come out with a win.
