Painting a Community
NAHS’ focus for its Sept. 27 meeting was open studio time as well as signing up for the upcoming officer elections. Both new and returning members are finding community in the club. This is senior Joey Siegler’s second year in NAHS – they are the former treasurer and are currently in the running for club president.
“I really love NAHS because it’s a great environment to meet new people and express yourself through art,” Siegler said. “There’s snacks and drinks and our sponsor Mrs. McCune is lovely”.
The club’s next meeting will be on Monday, Oct. 10. NAHS is still accepting new members so anyone is welcome to join or just stop by to collaborate and work on art.
