Shoes are a huge part of peoples outfits and just like the rest of the outfit there are a lot of opinions on shoes.  Students want shoes that are comfortable and look good.  Starting with what everyone agrees to be the favorite shoe brand Nike. 

Sophomore Kiersten Morris explains what her favorite shoe is and why.

“I like Nike the most because they tend to have the most comfortable shoes,” Morris said.

Nike seems to be loved by most everyone whether it be because of their comfort or just all the different colors and models. People’s favorite shoes are going to differ from person to person.  Sophomore Kiana Kluesener explains her favorite shoe and why she loves the shoe.

“I like Nike Dunks, they fit really well and look amazing,” Kluesener said.

“I love Air forces in almost any colorway,” Morris said.”They match with a lot because of all the different colorways.”

The one thing that seems to be a trend is low top shoes that come in a ton of different colorways.  These shoes are loved because there are so many different colors, adding a unique sense to it and something interesting about the shoes.  The colorway of a shoe is just as important as the model.  But opinions vary a lot. But there are certain colors that are more favored among people than others.

“I like the baby blue and white,” Kluesnener said. “The color adds a nice touch to the outfit.”

If you look around the school you’ll see this is a popular opinion. This is partly because the shoes can add a pop to your outfit and they’re not super hard to match.  However, if you want the easiest shoe to match that goes with almost if not everything you wear then look no further than a pair of white air forces.

“ Air forces have to be the easiest thing to match,” Kluesener said.

“ Really any shoe with neutral colors will work,” Morris said. 

With so many shoes that are worn in school there are bound to be some underrated and overrated shoes.  When it comes to overrated shoes there are several contenders.

“Yeezy foam runner,” Kluesener said.

You see these shoes a lot whether you’re at school or not you will be able to see them. 

“Foam runners they’re way too popular for how they look,” Kluesener said.

On the other hand there are several underrated shoes.

“Adidas are underrated. Any Adidas are super comfortable, bring back adidas,” Morris said.
