Breaking Away

An eventful Junior varsity boys’ soccer game ends in a reassuring result. On Sept. 14 the junior varsity boys soccer team faced Fort Zumwalt West. With the Spartans gaining an early lead, this uplifted the spirits of the team. Then gained a second goal late in the first half. Team captain Carter Elinor commented on how he is able to help encourage the team during the game.

“During half time, me and the other captains are able to talk to [the team] and they listen” Elinor said.

The team has been working hard these last few weeks and get to show their work during their games. With the junior varsity season ending in a couple of weeks, the team needs to stay focused for their last few games. Their next game is on Oct.10 against Fort Zumwalt West. These boys are looking for a win and possibly a couple more.
