On Mon. Dec. 18, the NAHS had their Christmas party where there was food, drinks, and lots of fun contest. One of the fun things they did was they had a gingerbread house contest they went in groups and designed the houses the way that they wanted to. Senior Kendyl Lay talks about her time in NAHS.

“NAHS gives me time to relax before I have to go to work at 3:30,” Lay, said. “I also love the environment that Mrs. McCune creates.”

The next meeting for NAHS is on Monday Jan. 8.

Senior Noah Layman Speaking to the crowd of about 120 students protesting FHSD School Boards decision, Layman addresses the crowd who held up signs to protest the decision to rescind standards used to create the Black History and Black Literature classes. Layman and a few of his friends organized a district-wide walkout after the Board voted to stop offering their Black Literature and Black History classes on Dec. 21, 2023.
