Gathering heroes at Francis Howell Central, the Epsilon Beta club hosted a breakfast for veterans on Nov. 12. Dozens of students showed up with their heroes for brunch to spend time and dine with their veterans. Veterans day is often overlooked, however, the people who have served for our country are owed respect as they have helped shape our country. Those who served and those around them often feel a connection with the holiday and realize how it has shaped their life. One of those people is freshman Greyson Engels, who commented on his relationship with veterans and their day.
“It’s just special because I have a lot of family that are veterans,” Engels said, “My dad and my grandpa both served.”
