As the girls’ basketball season started up, they had a jamboree to kick it off. Varsity played against Westminster and Ft. Zumwalt North on Nov. 18. The team is getting new players from the freshman class this year and will work together to grow their teamwork. They won two-thirds of their games during the jamboree. Elle McDevitt explains her goals for this season and what she will work on.
“My goal for the season is to just focus on my role in helping the team and focusing less on myself. I want to spend time working on my shot and my form in it,” McDevitt said.
The next basketball game for the varsity girls will be at Ft. Zumwalt South on Dec. 2 at 5:30pm.
