The Howell United boys varsity lacrosse team faced off against the St. John Vainney Griffins on April 4. They won 11-1, extending their win streak to 7 games. The team had just played their rivals, Wentzville, and were feeling fired up, but this might have led to the score not being as high as the team hoped for. Junior Jack Ney comments on the team’s performance.
“We just came down from a high, playing our rivals, and we had it in our heads that we already won. We could have definitely done better if we played like it was any other game— because it was”. Ney said
The team’s next game is April 17 at Dames Park against Lafayette.
