Reduce, reuse, create
On Thursday, December 5th, the environmental science classes made projects out of recycled projects. They used plastic, paper and other materials that could be reused. The projects were made with competition in mind, with prizes like gift cards for the best projects. Junior Ella Yawitz made a bowl out of magazine scraps. “It took about 3 hours. There was a lot of neat projects. I saw a few candle holders, someone made a flashlight, and someone made a little barbecue pit,” Yawitz said.
