Spartans Fall Against Bulldogs

Gardner believes “a shot is the hardest thing to perfect in basketball, getting defense and offense is down is simple.” Gardner says shooting is all muscle memory and takes a lot of practice.

The Spartans hit the road for their game at Fort Zumwalt South High School on Feb 12, the team’s chemistry was really good, but the Bulldogs got the best of them.

Senior Jonathan Gardner said even though the game didn’t go their way, the team’s defense was pretty hot.

“As a team we should’ve executed the offense better,” Gardner goes on to explain. “There were a lot of turnovers, and as a team we struggle with turnovers.”

The team’s next game is on Tuesday Feb. 25 against St. Charles.
