Swinging for Victory
On Oct. 12, the varsity softball team competed in the district tournament at Francis Howell High School. The entire game kept the crowd on their toes as the scoreboard teetered between both teams. In the end, the Spartans came out on top. Samantha Mangnall believes their faith in each other got them through the game.
“It was absolutely crazy,” Mangnall said. “We were cheering on our teammates trying to be as supportive as we can… we had faith in ourselves and the people that were about to play.”
The team is set to play Troy Buchanan today, Oct. 21 on their home field.
