Diving Into HoCo
Students gathered in the stadium for FHC’s 2022 fall pep assembly. It was an energetic group of students that got to watch cheer and dance, showcase what they do and watch an amazing water balloon throwing contest. The assembly was held on Sept. 22. and was completely filled with all freshmen through seniors cheering on all fall sports, marching band, and the sneak peak of powder puff they got as well as this year’s “Stranger Things” themed Senior Showman routine. Senior Evan Erickson was thrown in the air as part of this year’s Senior Showman routine and thought it was a little frightening.
“It was a really fun thing to do, and it was a little bit scary to be honest,” Erickson said. “But, I knew they would catch me. And being a Showman helped me make friends with people I haven’t ever talked to before.”
That night there was a homecoming parade followed by the annual powder puff game. Following that on Sept. 23 was the homecoming game against Timberland then the homecoming dance held in the gym on Sept. 24.
