Coffee, Snacks, and Driving Laws
The Learning Commons hosted their Coffee with a Cop for Real World Wednesday on Nov. 30. Students came down to the library during seminar and made themselves a drink and a plate of snacks to have while School Resource Officer Inserra answered students’ questions about driving laws, including texting and driving. Sophomore Ashlee Leonhard was one of the students who came down, and she had a lot t0 comment on regarding texting and driving.
“People in high school are starting to drive and I know that some are going to want to be on their phones,” Leonhard said. “It’s sort of a reminder to not do it because in the end it could harm you and others.”
The Learning Commons will host their next Real World Wednesday in February.
