In Ms. Laurie Fay’s AP Language and Composition, the students had just finished reading one of her favorite books, “The Catcher in the Rye” on Oct. 24. Because they had finished the book, they were having a class discussion which Ms. Fay supplied the questions for.
“I love the often mature discussions and interactions and how that leads to more intellectual discussions,” said Ms. Fay about the conversations she hears from her AP students, which are mostly juniors.
The discussion over “The Catcher in the Rye” is only one of many that Ms. Fay’s class will take place over the course of the school year, which many students look forward to.
