With the approaching holiday season, members of the FHC choir volunteered to spread festive cheer through Christmas caroling. During the evening, on Saturday, Dec. 6, the students sang to local businesses, vendors, and people for Cottleville’s first Christkindl Market. As people explored the festive event, they stopped by to listen to the carolers celebrating the holidays. Taking multiple choir classes this year, junior Mari Jones is a dedicated member of the chorale and chamber choirs. Jones participated in the caroling and reflected upon the significance of the occasion.
“I just love learning new things and being in such a fun and musical environment,” said Jones. “Especially for Christmas, it’s a nice time to bring people together, bring Christmas spirit to families, and sing songs that we really like to sing.”
Listen to the harmonies of the choir at their next concert on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 7:00pm.
