On Nov. 13, Lopez butters the bosco sticks to later serve to students. Once they are buttered they are then salted and served to students.
You see them everyday but may not really appreciate what they do. The lunch staff works to make sure all approximated 1,741 students are able to have a hot meal ready for them in the morning and during lunch. This feat is not as easy as some may think.
“We’re not just throwing food together, we’re trying to provide them with nutritious and delicious meals that fuel their bodies and minds,” Ramirez said.
It’s more than just following a couple of recipes, It takes time, effort, and grit to do the job the lunch staff does every day.
