In a team huddle Dec. 10 before game started, Head Coach John Varner tells the boys the plan for the game and gets them prepared for what's to come. The team uses the huddle to hype each other up and get ready for the game.
With winter fully upon us and basketball season in full swing, the FHC boys varsity basketball team took on the North Point Grizzlies on Wednesday Dec.10th. The Spartans dominated with a win of 72-22 over the Grizzlies. In his fourth year playing high school basketball, senior Jakari Reddin talks about how positive energy helps to keep the team focused.
“The energy on the bench, and then when we start the game, I always get the boys hype,” Reddin said. “We dap each other up on shots or we’ll point, when we get in the huddle after free throws we come together and hype each other up.”
Boys varsity basketball will take on Franis Howell at Howell on Dec.19 the game starts at 7 p.m.
