FHC girls’ varsity wrestling team participated in the Valkyrie Girls Tournament at Francis Howell on Friday Dec. 12. The girls competed against other schools in different matches. Each girl wrestled in a different weight class. Matches were won by points or by the opponents pinning one another. The coaches guided them through the match as they wrestled, helping them stay focused and reminding them to use proper technique. “I just think about how I can come back from it and look at all the mistakes that I made so I can beat my opponent next time,” Davis said.
The girls’ next dual is Jan. 7 vs Liberty High school, it will take place at FHC
