The Spartan Sensations are dancing, and senior Olivia Rothermich shows the expressions that are part of the dance. She bends her arms up by her face and steps on her toes on Feb. 20.
Senior night was on Feb. 20 after the girls’ varsity basketball game. We went against Francis Howell and lost 44-35. This game wasn’t just about winning, it was about honoring the seniors who will be graduating. The seniors were recognized for their participation in the sports they have worked hard in. Senior Olivia Rothermich is on the Sensations dance team. She explains what senior night made her feel.
“It was really just a full circle moment, walking past the younger classmen was a wake-up call that I won’t be there next year, and it’s just gonna be hard. I want to do it again,” Rothermich said.
The next girls’ varsity basketball game will be districts against Francis Howell on March 4 at Troy High School.
